| Comment | 1. The same number/different place thing might be down to different bus companies like a 38 for mcgills goes to a totally different place from a 38 for first bus.
2. It’ll depend on if you get a nice bus driver. If you’re on a first bus, download the first bus app and you can track the bus stop to stop and it’ll tell you where you are so you know where to get off.
3. Download first bus app, more reliable than google maps and it’ll give you live bus updates
4. Either first bus app or use [Travel line scotland](https://www.travelinescotland.com). First bus will only do first buses but travel line will show you buses, trains, underground and how to mix them for travel (although you can use a bus ticket for the underground eg a first bus ticket on the underground. But a zone card will cover all transport so you can hop on anything, it’s more expensive though than a bus ticket though and a first bus ticket will see you ok for most things .)
