Comment | I genuinely enjoy the commute and maybe I’ve been lucky but never had a single significant delay or cancellation.
They’ve now got the e-tickets on trainline for the journey so you don’t even need to go to the machine or desk each day. Be careful though because not every barrier has a scanner for the QR code so need to spot the right one as you get close. Not sure if charing cross have installed a scanner yet but the guy at the desk will let you through. And as /u/beaker_72 says you don’t need a ticket for each train, a return will cover all full journeys to that destination.
Also worth checking if you’re eligible for a railcard discount, my 26-30 railcard says me £9 everyday! |
