Yeah according to the council website her uni automatically notifies the council but she still needs to apply for the exemption. I’ve sorted out the bills from when I moved in but do you thinks it’s worth getting my flatmate to contact the council and explain that she didn’t apply for the exemption before I moved in but that she was a student during that period? I just don’t want our landlords to get an unexpected bill from the council if the council was under the impression that the flat was unoccupied before I moved in when that isn’t the case |
