Comment | It’s also apparently because a lot of landlords sold their properties during the pandemic because they were having trouble getting people to fill them. Now classes are in person again, students are finding that a lot of former student flats have been sold on and are being renovated or used as homes for non students. A lot of people also applied for “panic masters” due to the state of the job market, so that means that there are even more students than usual who are competing for flats. It’s just a shit situation all round. |
