I reckon this will be due to Brexit. Until recently I worked part time in a Japanese restaurant and the list of stuff we couldn’t get due to problems with importing was ridiculous. Either couldn’t get it full stop or it was RIDICULOUSLY expensive to acquire. We ran out of sesame oil on quite a few occasions.
