| Comment | A lot of the problems with Edinburgh's trams were to do with ground conditions - everywhere they dug they found old forgotten basements etc. Not sure if Glasgow will be any easier in that regard.
More stations with a park and ride facility like the new one at Robroyston would be good, if the aim is to keep traffic out of the city centre. Or service it with trams rather than mainline trains, so people can get to where they want within the centre rather than just being kicked out at Queen St or Central. |
