I'm in two minds whether to disable that or not - I thought it would be useful.
The point is you can create your own subreddit there for your group/club etc and then chose to follow other communities either locally on [lemmy.glasgow.social](https://lemmy.glasgow.social) or on any other server.
I think the [https://lemmy.glasgow.social/c/politics](https://lemmy.glasgow.social/c/politics) community is a good example. It's populated with posts from some relevant Glasgow political blogs, but it's also intended to be a space for discussions. If it got popular those blogs would even out and become a smaller fraction of the posts.
Like I said, it's the chicken and egg problem, I'm not sure leaving it just completely blank would be better. |
