I use Strava, when creating a route you can tell it to follow the 'most popular' means between two points, filtered by cycling heatmaps

As most of the data is recorded from recreational cycling, I find this means it almost always prioritises cycle paths over roads

I think Komoot is supposed to be good for similar reasons but haven't used it
