The company I work for was in a very strong position to win a big contract that by all accounts we should have won. Our bid was fantastic quality and included lots of carbon reduction options like EV charging points and air quality monitors. The council went with a cheaper bid which allowed them to maximise the revenue from parking charges. That's one example of what we're up against.
