It looks like a fledgling that’s maybe not been ready to fledge? That’s baby feathers, isn’t it? I’d keep the moggy outta the way (mine would be raging! ;D) and try to contain the bird in as big a space as I could with a big bowl of water (to bathe as well as drink), some random foodstuffs, and keep it cosy until the vet opens in the morning. I’d call them for advice. Or SSPCA. If it’s fallen outta a nest or tried to fledge and failed it would be traumatised. It’ll soon realise it’s in a 5* bird hotel so it’s all good!
