| Comment | How much are you willing to spend, used car prices have shot up. Used car buying is a total minefield, even for the knowlegeable. I will say that no car dealers right up to the multi-million pound Arnold Clark, sell cars that are checked and have all faults repaired, what they do is hope you don't find any until it's too late. My advice is look on Gumtree for a small basic car like a Toyota Yaris,small Skoda etc that's had one or two owners and the last owner has had it for some years and be prepared to get some repairs done at a reputable garage that won't rip you off. |
