Ireland was invaded by the UK and ravaged for the longest of times. Hunger strikers were just people who got sick of that, and fought in as many ways as they could to protest the continued stranglehold the UK had on Ireland.
If you're gonna get ass-blasted about a single hunger strike memorial march, maybe you ought to make it a little less obvious that you couldn't care less about the numerous crimes the UK state committed for centuries in Ireland, which have marches organised in support of those crimes, in multitudinous fashion every year. |
