| Comment | The only other way I've heard of is an account they arrange for homeless people - but you would have to be registered as 'homeless' which you aren't and takes months anyway.
So it looks like you just have to wait a couple of weeks until quarantine is over. If you know where you *will* be living, the bank might be willing to get all the paperwork set-up while you wait, so they can open the account quickly when you get proof of address.? But there are good reasons the law is like this. |
