But if they’re spending it on heroin you’re both funding the heroin trade and whatever other illegal activities those groups in that trade are involved in (people trafficking etc).
I really hate the fact people can so easily justify giving someone money for hard drugs which those same addicts are then handing straight over to a scum of the Earth drug dealer.
By giving to addicts you’re essentially lining the pockets of drug dealers and then justifying it by making out it’s some sort of super egalitarian gesture when it really isn’t - it’s just a cheap way for you to get a little bit of instant gratification by giving money to someone and then lying to yourself about the justification of it in order to feel good. |
