I have family living in Aberfoyle, one of them commutes to the Southern, the other used to commute to Clydebank daily. It's possible, but a round trip of 55+ miles daily, probably 45 - 60 minutes each way. Stockiemure road is faster than the Strathblane route. Good luck during the winter months!
