Well aye I know you're not buying it for the furniture haha, I mean a couple of those flats could probably do with a new kitchen and new flooring. Stuff like that tends to put off first time buyers which is why you can end up competing with developers at that price, they already have a team ready to carry out the renovations. You also end up noticing things once you're in the property...woodwork was always my bug bear - looks fine in photos but seriously, fuck sanding down woodwork that's been covered in coat after coat of gloss paint for 30 odd years.
