From the description I would suggest a chasni (it’s my favourite too). It’s been years since I lived in the west end so don’t know most takeaways anymore, but I’ve looked on deliveroo and just eat to see what’s in the west end and there are a few that I know are good. Balbir’s (I would recommend having a meal in the restaurant too as you can get the banquet where they ask about allergies and able your general preferences such as meat, fish, veggie only, creamy, not-creamy, etc), Danny Singh’s (there’s one I use on the south side and it’s the same people) and Koolba (been to the restaurant in town).
Chicken tikka masala doesn’t actually have a strict definition. You just tend to get similar recipes in the same area. So lots of the ones in Glasgow take always will be similar, whereas other cities will be different |
