Park the tipper round the corner and ferry stuff in your car. ;-)
Last time I took a van load of commercial waste to Polmadie, the cost wasn't terrible, but the minimum weight was 1 ton so a smaller load would seem expensive. Still likely cheaper than any (reputable) house clearance company will be.
