| Comment | I consider that this will be the most prominent Climate meeting (to date) and I am proud to have it in my city, and proud that we are yet again representing Scotland on the world stage.
Given the freedom of movement sacrifices we all made during the pandemic, I fully intend to stay put during COP 26. I don’t want the hassle, so I’ll stay at home.
I also consider this to be a great opportunity to attract investment into Scotland. I hope we can showcase some of the excellent and important climate ventures and innovations.
Us Scots invented all the good stuff, we have a reputation worldwide as innovators, I hope we live up to expectations and get some serious agreements from some powerful people. |
