There's conservation area and then there's conservation area. Around my old place your were *technically* not even allowed a satellite dish, although they were everywhere. The only person I took to task over that was my tenant and the less said about them the better (my neighbours deserve better).
You could do worse than calling planning and chatting to them, they are pretty decent and really do want to help. As I discovered after some complete twat cut holes in fire doors and illegally fitted a dish to a listed building. Oh wait, u wasn't going to mention them. |
