Comment | To jump onto this topic - you don't necessarily need fresh stuff. I used to kick myself when I wanted a whisky sour but didn't have any lemon juice. Then I heard about citric acid, you can buy it from your local Indian supermarket or from Amazon. It's a non-perishable dry good, and you just dilute it with water before adding it to a cocktail as if it was lemon/lime.
