| Comment | Not strange at all. I'm a similar age and was single for a good few years. Loved going to the cinema on my own. Even had a wee cheeky beer if it was the GFT or Grosvenor. Also went for meals or a burger and a pint on my own. That wasn't as enjoyable and I did end up feeling a wee bit lonely. That's not to say it won't work for you though. With all that said, I did try online dating in my early 40s. I was absolutely shiting it as its difficult to have the guts at that age, however I met a fantastic woman and we now have a wee baby. Not saying that's what you would want, but don't rule it out completely just cos it's absolutely fucking terrifying! |
