| Comment | I'm really conflicted since I do want it to go well. I love this city, and am proud we got the event. I would love for these world leaders and delegates to see what I see in terms of what Glasgow has to offer. What I'm fucking furious about is GCCs apparent lack of preparation for it. I walk past the area 5 days a week. The city is clatty and it is not looking it's best, a "spruce up" won't get us there. Yes covid happened but they also let the city get to this state. Why is our recycling still so poor? Five minutes from site there is recycling bins disgustingly overfilled. Get to residential areas on the other side of the bridge and recycling bins aren't even provided to residents. How we can host a summit of this nature but can't even recycle properly is beyond anyone's guess. |
