Agreed. The buzz when you first realise you can do anything on your own is incredible. Suddenly you have the freedom to do anything, any time that suits you! When I think about my first solo holiday (Japan, I was terrified) I still have a feeling of relaxation and happiness wash over me, a good 15 years later.
