| Comment | I have a couple of friends who are JW and I feel much of the prejudice against them is unjustified. Yes, if you get into a conversation about religion you won't stand a chance, because JW are effectively courtroom trained to overcome any objection, Perry Mason style. But they're not all out there to convert you. What people don't realise is that JW have to do a certain number of hours weekly as mission work, so even just putting a letter through your letterbox counts as such. They know most people won't be interested, and they're not interested in a sparring match just for the sake of it.
A polite 'sorry no, have a lovely day' is enough. |
