| Comment | I had (painful) physio for a year after I messed up my knee but the guys were brilliant. They promised they could get me back climbing again so I worked hard at it.
I was going a couple of times a week and got to know them well enough to share their carry-out curries if I went on a Friday.
In the end they decided I could be useful as an example to other patients since most people chucked it halfway through - it was really tedious as well as painful, so not really surprising. Every now and then they'd bring a new patient for me to encourage.
The best thing was that they stopped making formal appointments for me and just let me use the gym and equipment whenever I wanted. And they got me climbing again as promised.
