I'd be very surprised if you had any trouble. Might think twice about walking alone in through the park at night but Kelvin way itself is pretty well lit, has people passing through at most hours and it's generally in one of the safer parts of town. You're more likely to get startled by a passing fox than getting jumped and your bike nicked IMO.
