Nightclub licenses different to pubs. I think standard nightclub license is 3am.
I’m not sure if there’s been a lot of extensions granted because of covid or whatnot but you used to have to apply for a late late license to open till 4am for special events etc.
In any case, compared to other cities it’s a very short amount of time for clubs and pubs to be open.
