DL love new members, don't really care once on their books. I have joined and left twice. Last time we were a family of 4. 2 wishing to leave. They don't remind you on annual letters about 3 month period of notice. 2 put in period of notice with about 2 months to go and they charged a months fee once left. I was livid. I made such a fuss about it that although they didn't admit their deceit, they did start warning people when annual letters came in re fees that there was a 3 month period of notice. That and other things soured our experience. They are very short sighted and inflexible.
It is a great place for kids as some brilliant classes and for adults too. Outdoor pool is fun in the summer. They used to have some activity days and quiz nights (pre-Covid)but those dried up also. They had a succession of different managers so I don't think a happy place.
Join when they are doing a 3 month deal and see if you like it. Always deals to be had.
