That only works if you get a ticket for "Parked without payment of the parking charge", which is precisely why they don't issue tickets for that any more. You produce a valid ticket and you're off the hook because it's proof of paying the parking charge.
Instead they use "Parked without clearly displaying a valid ticket or voucher". In those cases producing a valid ticket isn't enough to get off the hook, because the ticket isn't for not paying, it's for not displaying. |
