| Comment | Very much depends on the night of the week. You going to be in the centre of town? If you're on Sauchiehall Street then both The State Bar and Variety Bar are both really quiet during the week. Both usually have quiet music on, The State sometimes has sports but Variety never does. Weekend they get busier but quieter than most. The State Bar has a good real ale and beer selection.
Glasgow is a town where quiet bars tend not to last long so they're a bit few and far between. Most bars that have nights if the week where they're quiet will just shut for their quiet days. Unfortunately most places are busy on the weekend.
