I work for the UN and I have been a sustainability practitioner for a while. I just despair about the incessant talking and the inaction is all.
For the record, I don’t reject COP26 fundamentally as an attempt at addressing increasing climate disaster, it’s just hard not to feel despondent when I have worked with this for 15+ years and it’s the same each time. Talking, promises, targets and inaction afterwards. |
