Used to live in one of the houses you mentioned. Yes it is loud at peak times, even with double glazing. Only one or potentially two of the rooms face on to Crow Road, however at the back you have a train line which also causes noise. It's OK if you're mostly spending time in the back of the house but you don't get much light - it is east facing. The front of the house that looks on to the road gets the most light. It's also a key route for ambulances going to Gartnavel so expect sirens.

There's no parking there either, some spaces in the lane at the back but they get taken quickly. It's not a bad location, close to a train station and supermarket in Anniesland but ultimately yes its on a main road and is going to be a bit of a pain at times.
