I am interested in any proposals but there are so many conflicting things I’ve heard about heat pumps and older houses. Electric cars seem like a much simpler change, but I think there needs to be a raft of changes for tenements. There’s a few things as someone who lives in a tenement I’m confused about - what should I replace a boiler with? Should I ditch radiators for underfloor heating or does that work better in places with lower ceilings? How do we push forward with making the building more eco-friendly and energy efficient when the factor won’t even agree to put in a new front door?

Quite apart from the most expansive and invasive upgrades, could people be given grants to access basic fixes like thermal curtains or fixing up insulation under floorboards or putting good quality carpet in? There’s a lot to discuss and I’d love to see everything that could be done.
