Even as someone who's always loathed getting on a bike, they're brilliant; the only issue I've seen is many drivers still don't implicitly realise bikes can undertake them while turning left, so someone's going to get squashed sooner or later. I'd solve it by going crazy with elevated cycle junctions, i.e. just above double decker bus height, so there'd theoretically be no possibility turning traffic will collide.
