It's hard to explain it all. Is it a case of them being out of touch and if so, does that apply to the actors too or do they actors question any of the material?

With it being in HD it does look very different but most phones these days film in HD so either filming in HD is really what it looks like in person and you're just seeing it in really high quality or they are using some kind of filter or doing some kind of additional editing to make it look a certain way. I could see that being the case because I know with the big soaps one of the big problems they had when they started filming in HD was it exposed everything, from the sets to the make up. It could be if they just filmed in HD as is that the make up of the characters would be exposed.

The big thing for me has always been the patter and the banter. I think the very early seasons done this well. You would have multiple people talking at the same time, over each other and at each other, there was an urgency. I think in those early seasons this story about going viral would have been only one storyline in an episode, not the entire focus of one. Again I just don't know why things are the way they are. I would love to ask them about it but of course they're never going to say anything that criticises the show and I don't expect the actors to say anything like that either.

I'm just genuinely curious from all involved, from Greg and Ford to the cast to the director, to the producers whether they have either deliberately changed, or whether they were forced to change or whether there is no change at all and they honestly don't see any changes and as far as they're concerned it's the same as it ever was. It's really interesting and I don't want to make a point of this but I have seen it mentioned. Can money affect this? Can being wealthy really change your thought process, in this case their patter and writing? Can living in the West End area of Glasgow really change how you are as a person, can that high quality of life really change what these guys did for so many years? I'm sure they had money during those earlier seasons. I don't know. I like Glasgow a lot. I have no issue with any of it, there is good reasons to go everywhere in it but I have to say, any time I do go to the West End part of it......there is a sense of it being a dream. It's like it motivates you. You always imagine what it must be like being able to live there in a nice flat or house and a nice quality of life and eating out in nice places and obviously working a well paid job. There is a sense of it being fairly exclusive and a nice place to be. It can feel very strange to someone not brought up in that part of Glasgow. I love the shopping in that area and there are some nice places to visit and some nice heritage there but in terms of this show. Can success really change someone? Can your surroundings change you and in the case of the show, which had such good writing.......can you really lose your patter?
