It's the time taken driving versus public transport that always gets me here, is the thing. I'm near enough to the city centre and we're talking e.g., 15m driving to get to Mugdock, but it would be 1h30m on the bus. 25m to get to Queen Park, but 50m with a train/combo hassle. It's alright if you've got the time to spare.
