I once had a reformed junkie, now cokehead, who told me a story of her sister taking her kids (the reformed junkies kids) on holiday to Spain with her sister's family. Her son had convinced his sister that the plane was going to crash before getting to Spain and they would all die. Understandably, the young girl was terrified and refused to go on the plane. So what the mother done, this is the person telling me the story, is get half a valium and put it inside a sweetie then gave the sweetie to her terrified daughter. Shortly after the young girl is out cold and off they headed to the airport.
What adults do is on them, but to see their kids suffer really broke my heart. |
