| Comment | ya know, when i lived in EK, i had to buy a car because public transport there SUCKED. the bus during rush hour would sometimes take 1 hour and 45 mins from where i lived to glasgow city center.
now i live near the tube line and cycle, it's much easier to get around BUT i've complained about how shit cycling infrastructure is and honestly, if you don't live near the tube line or the trains, you're kinda fucked.
the easiest way to get people out of their cars is to make alternate forms of transportation easier, cheaper, safer and more reliable than driving. i don't think glasgow city council understands that and just want to make things shit for everyone |
