It’s not as simple as the one factor of carrying a knife though. It’s all the accompanying ones and knock on effect though.

However, in simple terms though, STATISTICALLY, an average person that carries a knife is more likely to get stabbed. Reasons for this could include the company they keep and / or the way they approach violent or potentially violent situations.
