| Comment | I saw a team of guys painting the bins outside the rangers shop on Sauchiehall street today, so not only are they picking up litter, they're pimping up the bins, too. I can't see Obama or Putin looking for a new bit of Castore gear, but at least they're trying. Still, the place will be a midden, after the conference, and probably during it, too, if they're not emptying the bins.
I'm not pro or anti strike, by the way. I have no skin in that game, apart from not wanting to live in a watered down Baghdad, but I left the city 6 years ago, and it wasn't as filthy as it is now. I spent time in South East Asia, in 3rd world countries, or at least developing nations, and it's getting to be as bad as those places, now. Still, brand spanking new coats of paint on the bins, so that's a plus... |
