| Comment | These building owners are getting right on my tits now. They refuse to invest in fixing their building but cry "woe-is-me" for how much they're spending on scaffolding to hold up their tumbledown ruin.
I know they're just playing chicken with GCC, trying to get them to pay for refurbing the building but leave them owning it.
Past time the government stepped in, took ownership away from them, and invested the money to make the building something useful to the community, before it's too late to save.
Whatever else happens, the owners must NOT be allowed to profit from their bullshit anymore. If they demolish it, they can't be allowed to retain the land and build something more profitable on it. |
