Only one I can think of is the Clockwork. Book in advance. Church on the hill isn't far. Again, book in advance. Not a pub, but Battlefield Rest is decent enough.
Other than that...Govanhill (e.g. the Bell Jar) or Strathbungo (e.g. Stag and Thistle) are a short walk. Again, book in advance.
