Currently live in a decent enough flat, near to the subway, perfect to get to work. £495 a month.
My landlord is selling, so I need to be out by the end of next month. I've been looking for a flat for nearly 5 months.
I've now accepted that I can't get a similar flat in a similar area. All the flats around me are going for more than £700-800 a month, and going in seconds.
Outside of the city centre, flats are still going for £650+. I earn £1,400 a month and no lettings agency will accept that as enough to rent a flat at that price without a guarantor. I don't have a guarantor.
I need to stay near the centre to be able to get to work (I work in Partick).
I'm literally having to look at flats in Dumbarton, Helensburgh, even fucking Balloch - because at least they're only 40 minutes on the train. Still no success.
No idea what I'm going to do. |
