| Comment | Last night I passed by some lovely new planters that were donated by the council on the Bolton street triangle in Mount Florida. Of course, some complete idiot decided to drive up onto the triangle in between two of the planters.
I mentioned how nice the planters were on a neighbourhood fb post about them and then threw in that someone was already ruining it by parking between them. The owner of the car responded and basically complained that there was no parking for them when they came home last night. I told them there was parking a few streets away and that's the price you pay when you choose to have a car in an area with limited street parking (and right up against a train station...). She then said that her partner had mobility issues.
This morning as I was walking my dog I just happened to see both her and her partner. They said goodbye and he jogged over to the car and left with it.
People are going to be shitty no matter what. This COP26 will only lead to the council throwing up band aids and lazy people ruining shit because of selfishness. |
