If the trip costs £100, they put that through as an expense. That reduces their profits and therefore don’t pay corporation tax on that amount. Corporation tax is 19% therefore they would save £19 by putting it through the books.
It’s not a 1 to 1 exercise. You don’t get the full amount just by charging it back as a taxable expense.
