Nice for them to have a union that can fight for more pay and favourable conditions, but other professions have unions that are fucking useless. A family member of mine worked for Greggs. During the pandemic their union actually lost them contracted hours and negotiated what was effectively a pay cut. No reversal of this of course now that the shops are fully open again and making money hand over fist at the expense of their overworked and poorly paid employees. Any shop workers union I've been involved in has been useless to me too. The money goes to the Labour party, and they're fucking useless too. It's not a black and white issue.
