Mate - personally I’m more hopeful in these times when people can call their abusers out publicly rather than stay silent. Not too long ago it was the whole casting couch sexual coercion being the butt of a “don’t let the director get too close” joke. People literally memed about Weinstein being a wee creep. This wasn’t that long ago. It was considered part of the industry. That wasn’t a very fucking hopeful way to be. Patch brushing that shit off. Patch the way police used to fully ignore street harassment.....as much as I hate people who bumsook the police, at least now you can report upskirting and harassment without as much resistance and cuntery as before. Ask your mum what being a bar girl in the 80s was like and then tell me ‘me too’ is the opposite of hope. I’ll ‘me too’ any cunt who sexually harasses me and I’m not sorry.
