Sadly Susan Aitken will get back in. The SNP will run two candidates in my ward, which is strongly Yes. Plus, the other SNP councillor is renowned locally for being exceptionally on the ball, so I'd imagine she'll have convinced a lot of people to go SNP 1 and 2 in preferences.
I have no love for Aitken but I'm sure the Tories and Labour will run a pretty misogynist campaign targeting her as a person instead of as a politician. Hope I'm wrong. |
