I’d guess that by circling the car then an argument can be made that he was putting an obstacle between himself and his attacker . Based on the “wing mirror” comments it’s safe to assume the guy who threw the punch had a car there . I wonder if he’d be expected to retreat to an extent where he has to run away from his personal property (his car) ?
